After installing disc one of Star Trek Starfleet Academy navigate to the install folder. On my system it was located here:
C:\Program Files\Interplay\Starfleet Academy\
Right click on the file:
Select the Compatibility tab
Select the following settings:
In “Compatibility mode” check “Run this program in compatibility mode for:” and select “Windows XP (Service Pack 3)” from the drop down menu.
In “Settings” check “Reduce color mode” and select “8-bit (256) color” from the drop down menu.
Also check the boxes next to “Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution” and “Run this program as an administrator”.
Enjoy the Star Trek goodness.
I’ve been trying to find a way preferably with group policy to removed cached login profiles from Windows 7 & 8 machines to prevent large profiles from filling up workstations hard drives.
A great website called PeteNetLive yields the answer. The group policy is located under the path:
Computer Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > System > User Profiles
and is called:
“Delete cached copies of roaming profiles”
Once enabled you can set the number of days to keep cached profiles for before they are deleted. The deletion occurs after a reboot.
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup white sugar
1/4 cup of softened butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 very ripe bananas
Mash bananas and then add everything else into the mixing bowl.
Bake at 175 degrees C for 50 to 60 mins or until a toothpick comes out clean. Grease and flour the loaf tin first (5×9).
